A poem that makes no sense is a challenge to make sense out of seeming meaninglessness. It's like a Rorschach test in a sense, only instead of challenging us to find an image, it challenges us to find an entire form of thinking that makes sense of the images, emotions, and relationships implied in the poem.<br /><br />Nonsensical poems force us to think differently if we are to truly enjoy them. They force us to adopt, if only for a moment, an entirely new worldview. There's comfort in that, if only in the realization that the often depressing and terrifying way we see the world isn't the only way to see, or experience it.<br /><br />At least...
